South Hageland, with its sunken roads, winding forest paths and Meerdaal forest make the Meerdaal Nature Walk 50 km a real challenge for experienced walkers.
Oud-Heverlee is situated between the Mollendaalbos, the Meerdaalwoud and the Heverleebos. Together they form the largest dean forest in Flanders. The ideal location for a relaxing trail walk full of variety.
Whether you are a beginner or an experienced long-distance hiker, You can participate for every level.
In the vicinity of the Torenvalk, literally the gateway to the Meerdaalwoud.

Participation in the Meerdaal Nature Trail 50 & 35 km is only possible through pre-registration. Registration on the day itself is not possible.
In addition to the 50 & 35 km Trailwalk distances, you can still register for the traditional distances on the day itself. A giant wooden kestrel forms the gateway to the Meerdaal forest, which is characterized by deciduous forest and sunken roads. But also views of the rolling South-Hageland and typical square farms are part of this adventurous and above all nature-rich Meerdaal Nature Trail.
